アウトソールに使ったラバー以外、中底などの部材まで、全てレザーを使って制作したスニーカーです。大量に生産され、消費されていくスニーカーを見ていて感じる疑問、つまり、どのようにしたら一つの製品を長年使い続けることができるのかという問いへの一つの答えとして形にしたものです。革は、食肉生産の副産物として、私たち人間の歴史の中で古くから役立てられきた素材です。長年の使用に耐え、使用するにつれて味わいを深めるだけではなく、革を見ていると、大手企業のマーケティングにつられて、必要なレベルをはるかに超えて大量に消費を続けることの虚しさを気づかせてくれる気がします。そんな思いを込めてスニーカー BLACKSTONE をつくりました。
S/S 2022 シーズンは、ブラックのクロムエクセルレザー、ブラックとホワイトベージュの2色のスエードで展開いたします。

Apart from rubber outsole, all made of leather. The thorough selection of materials came from our questions against mass production and mass consumption of sneakers; what can make people use a pair of sneaker for long time? Leathers are with our life for centuries of history, as bi-product of meat production. It lasts long and it looks nicer as it is used. By looking at such material, leather, we believe people might notice the silliness of mass consumption. This is whay we thought by making this leather sneaker, BLACKSTONE.
Black Horween Chromexcel leather, Black suede, White Beige suede are available for S/S 2022 season.
