S/S 2017シーズンの発売以来、ブランドを代表する型の一つとなっている ROOTS。そのラストは、マンソン博士が2000人の足形を取って研究し、1912年に完成させたマンソンラストです。ただし、その時代特有の大きく緩いカカトを修正し、履き心地を改善し、ローリングダブトリオのオリジナルにリビルドし、生まれ変わらせています。足指あたりに幅を持たせ圧迫感を無くしつつ、甲をしっかり押さえることで確かなフィットが得られるこのラスト。ROOTS はその姿に最も似合う、正統的キャップドトゥのブーツです。自社工場で職人の手作業を多用したダブルステッチのステッチダウン製法、大きく張り出したコバ、湾曲を付けたカーブドヒール。こうした仕様で屈強につくられていますが、切りっぱなしの履き口や柔らかく加工したタンの革など履き心地にも配慮した、時代を超える定番ブーツです。
S/S 2022シーズンは、3色のホースバットでの展開となります。

ROOTS has become one of our icons since its launch in S/S 2017. The boot is made with Munson Last which were designed by Dr. Munson in 1912, after thorough research of various foot shapes of 2,000 people. The last has wide ball-joint for comfort of fingers and tight-holding instep to make sure the best fit to any feet. We, however, re-shaped it to have better holding heel to make the original version for. On this masterpiece last, the authentic capped-toe design of the boot is a natural fit. We make the boot by double stitch Stitchdown construction with a lot of hand work by the skilled shoemakers in our own factory. Curve ground woodsman style heel is nailed. As it looks, it is made extremely sturdy. Cut-off collar and tender leather of tongue, however, assures comfortable wear. The timeless style of ours.
