デザイン・仕様について--- ブランドを代表する型の一つとなっているキャップドトゥのブーツがROOTS です。米軍ブーツ用に1912年に開発されたマンソンラストに独自の修正を加えて履き心地を改善した木型を使用。ダブルステッチのステッチダウン製法、大きく張り出したコバ、頑強なコルクソール、湾曲を付けたカーブドヒールなど、正統的なワークブーツの仕様に沿ってつくられていますが、切りっぱなしの履き口や柔らかく加工したタンの革など履き心地にも配慮した設計。時代を超えるローリングダブトリオの定番ブーツです。レザーについて--- しっかりとした厚みを持ちながら馴染みが良く、密な繊維組織を持ち美しいシワを刻むホースバットを使用しています。ブラックはエイジングが楽しめる茶芯です。
