デザイン・仕様について --- アウトソール以外、中底などの部材に至るまで全てレザーを使って制作したスニーカー, BLACKSTONE のハイカットバージョンです。大手企業のマーケティングにより、過剰なレベルの大量生産、大量消費を続けるスニーカーに感じる疑問。それに対する答えとして、使うほどに味わいを深めながら、長い年月履いていただけるスニーカーとしてつくったのが、この BLACKSTONE HI です。
レザーについて --- しっかりとした厚みを持ちながら馴染みが良く、密な繊維組織を持ち美しいシワを刻むホースバットを使用しています。ブラックはエイジングが楽しめる茶芯です。これらに加え、牛革のブラックスエードをご用意しました。

Design --- High-cut version of BLACKSTONE, our “all made of leather” sneaker. Marketing of gigantic sneaker brands creates excessive mass production and mass consumption. Our question to the phenomena made us to create the leather sneaker that can be worn for long years by enjoying the leather breaking in beautifully. BLACKSTONE HI offers the true sustainability that we have learnt from centuries of leather history.
Leathers --- Horsebutt leather used for this boot has dense fiber texture that makes beautiful break-in. It breaks-in well for its thickness. Black one is “teacore” that will make distinctive patina. We also have Black Suede of steerhide (cowhide) leaher.
