デザイン・仕様について --- 19世紀末、英国で乗馬用ブーツとしてつくられたジョドファーブーツは、機能美の中にも気品を感じさせるブーツです。 このデザインを、USネイビーラストに独自の修正を加えたラストを使い、ダイレクトウエルト製法 （中底に掘った溝からダイレクトにウエルト、アッパーを縫い通し、ウエルトにソールを縫い付ける製法） で、スマートに仕上げたのが、GRIFFIN JODHPUR です。バックル側のストラップを短くして靴の側面で固定されるよう工夫しており、バックルへの留め外しが手早くできます。
今シーズンはブラックとブラウンのボックスカーフをご用意しました。日本国内で仕上げられた上質なボックスカーフで、きめ細かく、しっかりとしたコシを持つ美しいレザーです。

Design --- Jodhpur Boot, which was originally designed for horse back riding in the end of 19th century in England, is a boot filled with functional beauty and class. We make this boot with our original last which was modelled after US Navy last and with Direct Welt construction (stitching upper and welt from thorough the channel on the bottom of insole, and then stitching sole and welt) that enables the boot to have sharp looking. The strap system is also original. The long rectangle buckle is held by short stay on the side that makes putting on and off easy and smooth.
The leathers are Black and Brown high grade box-calf, finished in Japan. The leathers have silky smooth texture with firm (but not too rigid) temper.
