このブーツは、RDT-M11（M42.5 Service Boots) 同様、「実在しないものをあえてコピーする」というコンセプトから生まれました。将校（オフィサー）や後方支援の兵士（サービスマン）ではなく、第二次世界大戦当時の前線で活動する兵士のために存在していたかもしれない架空のブーツを想定してデザインされています。ZIP部分は過酷な環境でも使用に耐えるよう縫製方法を工夫しており、摩耗した場合でも交換できる仕様となっています。また、取り外し可能なタッセルパーツが付属しています。これは、危険な前線にいる兵士であっても、”自分らしさや洒落っ気を持ち続ける”そんな人間らしい感情を表現したデザインです。このブーツは、あたかも歴史上に実在したかのようなリアリティを持ちながらも、完全なフィクションとして構築されたRDTらしいプロダクトとなりました。

Like "M-42.5 Service Boot", this boot is created by our original approach to "reproduce what has never existed". The boot is designed by imagining what might have been worn by WWII front line soldiers (rather than officers or logistics service men). Fastner parts are made to be replacable, by adopting new stitching method, for the boots to be functional for longer period even in sever conditions. The boot also has replaceable tasssel so that even front line soldiers could enjoy something nice on the boots, not loosing human emotion. Having flexible and crative thoughts that we always cherish, we tried to give a touch of reality as the boot did exist in the history although it is a new creation.
