数多くのブランドがそのレプリカを手がけるミリタリーシューズの名作 M-42 ブーツと M-43 サービスシューズ。本作は、その2足の「良いとこ取り」を目指してデザインされた、挑戦的な一足です。
M-4 2に見られるマンソンラストの形状や高めのヒールバランス。M-43 の特徴である一枚革のアッパーと美しいステッチワーク。それぞれの要素を融合しながら、新たなシルエットとして再構築しています。
内側には、もし THE BOOTS FACTORY が当時の米軍のコンストラクター（製造元）だったら？という、想像に基づく刻印を入れました。
「実在しないものを、あえてコピーする」という逆説的なアプローチから生まれた、ユニークな一足です。

This "M-42.5" Service Boots is created by blending the 2 historical American military boots, M-42 and M43. We tried to mix the best of these 2, shape of Munson last and rather high heel of M-42 and unlined upper and beautiful stitching work from M-43. Picking the best elements of these boots, "M-42.5" comes to have new, original silhouette. We also put the stamp that makes us think if THE BOOTS FACTORY was a contractor of US military. Making a replica of what has never existed, is a paradoxical approach that we take to make this unique boot.
