デザイン・仕様について --- ブランドを代表する型の一つとなっているキャップドトゥのブーツが ROOTS です。米軍ブーツ用に1912年に開発されたマンソンラストに独自の修正を加えて履き心地を改善した木型を使用。ダブルステッチのステッチダウン製法、大きく張り出したコバ、頑強なコルクソール、湾曲を付けたカーブドヒールなど、正統的なワークブーツの仕様に沿ってつくられていますが、切りっぱなしの履き口や柔らかく加工したタンの革など履き心地にも配慮した設計。時代を超えるローリングダブトリオの定番ブーツです。
レザーについて --- しっかりとした厚みを持ちながら馴染みが良く、密な繊維組織を持ち美しいシワを刻むホースバットを使用しています。ブラックはエイジングが楽しめる茶芯です。

Design --- ROOTS is our iconic capped-toe work boot, made with the Munson last that we have modified to have better fit. The original last was developed in 1912 for US soldiers and has become one of the best lasts for work boots. ROOTS is an authentic work boot with double-stitch Stitchdown construction, heavy-duty cork sole with wide edge extension, curved heel. Besides extremely sturdy look, cut-off collar and tender leather of tongue contribute to comfortable wear. The timeless style of ours.
Leathers --- Horsebutt leather used for this boot has dense fiber texture that makes beautiful break-in. It breaks-in well for its thickness. Black one is “teacore” that will make distinctive patina.
